Just helpful. If you can at least use the one that is on your smartphone if you have one
so that is going to help you one get around unknown areas. So if you do have to
escape the area or if you know, you're taking a left you're taking a right you're taking a
right take a left take a left left left all of a sudden. You don't know where you're at and
things are still going on out there and you want to just know I don't even know what
direction the highway is in if I want to get back out there. So a GPS ability either inside
of your vehicle or if you've got a phone there you have a fun.
Phone in your holder that you can use the GPS that will help you to be able to
determine the safest way to get out of there. You can also find local police stations that
you might be able to travel to hospitals of somebody is injured things like that. Again,
it's always going to be situational their police stations might be the worst place to be
around but you are going to at least have more options or to be able to find things and
be able to get back on track there. Now. The other thing this does for you is that you
can stay on the phone with 911 if you are in a dangerous situation
Action so that you can stay on the phone with them hands-free for help and also for
documentation. So the 911 operator is likely going to have to stay on the call. They'll
be recording the whole thing. They're not really allowed to hang up. Now if it is a really
bad situation, they might and you're not in there like a deadly situation or somebody is
it's a situation where they have to stay on the line. They might be getting other calls.
They have to take they might get overloaded, but you always want to make sure that
you are hands-free and you can stay on the phone.
With them and describe what's going on give them as many details as possible what's
going on descriptions of people. So even if you are absolutely hurt or God forbid killed
you and your family are heard in some way and you're calling out what's going on
around you descriptions of people there might be other cameras in the area. They're
going to catch the action and maybe your description. Maybe you just saying that this
person called this other person this, you know by this name just giving as much
information as possible.
Was going to help the people maybe to be able to get apprehended later on. Okay.
Now if you don't have Bluetooth in your vehicle, I do recommend that you have a
Bluetooth headset always inside of your vehicle that or on your person. I like to have
them one with me that you can use that you can just put on your on your ear. And
again, you're going to go hands-free that way. You don't have to take your your hands
off the steering wheel if you're an escape-and-evasion scenario, you want to make
sure that you can go hands-free and a headset is going to help you do that.
